    Paul Jones, Managing Director

    Paul has been working with the business for over 20 years. The company was established in 1988 in London as Hotlines Telemarketing Ltd, the Glasgow branch (which was established in June 2000) rebranded as 1Call Direct in October 2003.

    Initially there were only 12 seats,  since then we have grown the business into a 250 seat outbound centre of excellence. I am very proud of what we have achieved and look forward to continued growth and success.

    Derek starting working for 1calldirect over 6 years ago, and quickly moved up the ranks to our best team within 3 or 4 months based on his aptitude and our training. As part of his personal development programme he has also had management and coaching roles within the business.

    He quickly settled into our laid back office, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and flexible hours.  The best part of the job for Derek is clearly his income, with competitive base salaries and phenomenal bonus performance, but he also enjoys the learning new skills and meeting new people.

    Malcolm MacLennan, Client Services Director

    Malcolm joined the board of 1calldirect in November 2009. He has worked for over 12 years in the contact centre arena, 10 years with RESPONSE intelligent Outsourcing where he was responsible for three blue chip clients and over 1000 personnel.

    1calldirect has given Malcolm the opportunity to work with a leadership team who are focused on creating a culture and environment where success is both rewarded and recognised.

  • Linda, Sales Advisor

    Linda is a sales advisor for the Peoples Postcode lottery.  She was looking for something a bit more fun and relaxed than her previous roles, and says she found that here.

    For her, working at 1calldirect is about going places, making something of yourself, and making lots and lots of money!  She has her own flat, is going on holiday shortly and spends her evenings going out, having dinner with friends, shopping, etc.   Working at 1calldirect means she can live her life the way she wants to.

  • Michelle, Trainee Sales Advisor

    Michelle joined us recently as an Trainee Sales Advisor and is now an Energy Sales Advisor.  Before joining us she worked at Thomas Cook and a few other call centres, but didn’t like them until she found 1calldirect.

    Now she’s here, she likes the people and the atmosphere and makes good use of the new canteen, beauty salon and sunbed we added since her start date.

    And, as always, it’s good money!
