Roles
Trainee Sales Advisor
Are you motivated, enthusiastic and money hungry? If you have an excellent telephone manner and are capable of meeting targets, then this would be a perfect role for you. On completion of your client delivered product training, you will be given full on-boarding support to the team from our highly competent management team
Sales Advisor
The next step on your journey with 1call direct. Sales advisors need to be confident communicators and have demonstrated excellent selling skills and the ability to retain the product knowledge they have gained. The personality and attitude of the sales advisor are often more important than any formal qualifications held. In this role you will use your knowledge of products and services to increase sales and meet sales targets.
Verifier / Floorwalker
This role involves completing the customer experience by confirming and reassuring the customer they are satisfied to proceed with the sale and fully understand the product they have just bought. You will also provide expert knowledge to agents regarding products as well as any complex or unusual queries the customer may have.
Team Manager
The Team Manager oversees the daily operation of a group of between 10 and 12 advisors. They perform a wide range of duties including coaching agents and monitoring calls made. Daily planning and problem solving are main tasks to ensure that their team meets their goals and targets. To get the most from their team, these leaders work continuously to develop the individuals in their group. As such communication and leadership skills and the ability to identify problems and come up with solutions also play a major part in this role.
Training
Induction
Your first day at 1calldirect starts with an informal ice breaker which will help you to relax and get to know everyone in your training class.
Our induction programme is interactive incorporating live call listening and role-playing, and we will check you fully understand each section before we move on. Overall each induction course lasts between three and five days dependant on the campaign you will be joining and your previous experience. We always ensure that all our sales force are fully prepared when they “go-live”.
We also provide ongoing training to ensure you have up-to-date knowledge of our client’s products and services, and are aware of current developments within the product’s marketplace.
Graduation Bay
Once you have completed your induction training the next stage of your journey is to join the Graduation Bay. This is a specialised sales bay where you work alongside your fellow trainees receiving additional support to facilitate your early calls. Advice about objection handling and closing is provided and graduates are encouraged to share their experiences with each other.
Once you have made your first few live calls you will go back to the training suite for a de-brief and feedback session. You will be set achievable and phased targets which are regularly reviewed with your manager. After successful completion of your first four weeks in the Graduation Bay you will be ready to hit the sales floor as a fully-fledged 1call sales advisor – now that’s a big bonus!
